Bridge Regular Index

The Bridge designation only refers to the size of the card. A Bridge card is 3.5 inches tall by 2.25 inches wide. It is also commonly known as narrow size. Most poker rooms use a bridge size card. Most other table games are dealt using a poker (wide) size card. Home use is split, but there is a preference towards the poker size.

The regular designation refers to the size of the pip (the letter or number in the corner of the card) A regular indexed card has a smaller pip but a larger picture. A regular index is popular in the game of Texas Hold’em, since the smaller pips allow players to view their hole cards more efficiently.

The Bridge regular set is made up of two decks in a sturdy box with a slide out plastic tray. Each deck is a standard deck made up of 52 cards of 4 different suits. There are also 2 jokers in each deck.
